4. Le Train Jaune
   Already, for the last 90 years, the Train Jaune with its blood red and gold livery has been the criss-crossing the territory as a veritable symbol of the Languedoc-Roussillon Region. The journey on the Train Jaune resembles a panoramic film, in time with the swaying of the carriages: half way up the steep inclines of the Vallée de la Têt, the train is on close terms with the void before gently crossing wide bucolic landscapes at the foot of the Canigou, Cambre d'Aze, Carlit and Puigmal massifs, with the silhouette of La Serra del Cadi in the distance.

6. Le Trein des Merveilles
   At the gates of Mercantour, enter the last kingdom before Italy, a treasure of the Haut-Pays. Leaving from Nice, the train travels through the valleys of Paillon and Roya Bévéra, affording a rich tapestry of landscape to the traveller. 8. CFC - Camini di Ferru di a Corsica
   Nicknamed 'U trinighellu' (the trembler) by the inhabitants, between the sea and the mountains, this railway line offers you a whole host of varied landscapes in Corsica. Departing from Bastia and from Ajaccio, the train leaves behind the coastal plains and, in less than two hours, climbs the thousand metre gradient separating it from the station at Vizzavona.
